Hydrogen sulfide Scavenging compositions, Methods for Preparation and Process for removal of hydrogen sulfide from Liquid Hydrocarbon media

A method for reducing the amount of hydrogen sulfide present in a Liquid Hydrocarbon while Minimizing the amount of Corrosion in the Process Equipment that comes in contact with the liquid Hydrocarbon.The Method includes adjusting a Glyoxal solution at a pH of about 2.5 to about 6.0 and disperse the adjusted solution of Glyoxal in the liquid Hydrocarbon. Also disclosed is a Composition of Scavenging of hydrogen Sulphide and a method for its preparation.
