Provided is a method for treating a Zone of a Subterranean formation.The Method includes the steps of: (a) forming a Treatment Fluid comprising: (i) Water; (ii) an agent that increases the viscosity that is selected from the group consisting of soluble polysaccharides in waterWater soluble Derivatives of these and any combination of these; (iii) a Crosslinking agent for the viscosity increases; (iv) a hydrophobically modified water-soluble Polymer; where the agent that increases the viscosity is not a hydrophobically modified Polymer DO; and (b) introducing the treatment Fluid in a Zone of a Subterranean formation.Where the Zone has a temperature rating equal to or greater than 350 degrees.
