DEFINITION OF OPTICAL PATHWAYS USING GENERIC RWA ALGORITHMS

METHOD FOR DEFINING OPTICAL PATHS USING GENERIC RWA ALGORITHMS, in which the topological information is changed so that the RWA algorithm uses only those resources that can be effectively configured on the transport pallet. Such changes take into account analyzes of the insert / drift ports and the installed transmitters, which are connected to the ROADM WSS, in addition to the port types (local, global or network). The method comprises checking port compliance (501, 502, 503), checking transmission compliance (601, 602), removing unavailable resources (603, 604, 605), route calculation (701, 702 ) itself, by executing the RWA algorithm and post-analysis (801, 802, 803), in which the transmitters actually used in the calculated route are selected.
