Biocomposite with PLA matrix and soy fibers

Summary of the invention consists in that the composite comprises from 50 to 90% by weight PLA polymer and 10-50 wt% natural fibers of soya (fiber length 0.2 to 3 mm). The thus prepared composite may be as required for the final and properties of parts and semi-finished or according to process requirements with customary additives such as lubricants, inorganic fillers, colorants, UV stabilizers, biocides, flame retardants, pigments, antistatic agents, nucleation agents and the like. This percent addition can be made in terms of reducing weight% natural fibers, or in terms of reduced weight% PLA matrix.
