In the present invention, there are disclosed desloratadine hemisulfate of the general formula I wherein the meaning of X is a hydrogen sulfate group and n is 1 or 2. The present invention also disclosed a process for preparing desloratadine salts of the general formula II, in which X denotes an acid radical having pH value less than 3.5, further anti-allergic compositions containing desloratadine hemisulfate.
