The present invention relates to a fuel assembly of a water-moderated atomic power reactor comprising spacer grids (1, 11) used for a hexagonal beam of fuel elements (2) and arranged along the fuel assembly, bearing elements in the form of angle plates firmly fixed to the spacer grids (1, 11) and to the rear part of the fuel assembly, and guiding tubes (5) extending through a portion of the elements in the spacer grids (1, 11). The fuel assembly of the present invention further comprises sockets (8), which are mounted on the guiding tubes (5) with a guaranteed clearance not exceeding 1.5 mm with respect to the end surfaces of the spacer grids (1, 11). The sockets (8) of the first spacer grid, in the course of a heat carrier flow, are mounted from the side of lower end. On the remaining spacer grids (1, 11), the sockets (8) are mounted from the side of upper end.
