A disposable test strip for an electrochemical biosensor is reported with six advanced features. The test strips are made with enzyme ink with a hydrophobic binder leading to relatively less adsorption of glucose oxidase and redox mediator for generating detectable. Test strip includes an independent area for liquid sample like blood flow across sensing area. The sample application port leads to a sample receiving chamber. The base of the hydrophobic sample receiving chamber is made with a layer hydrophobic membrane ion echanger-1 followed by having printed area in two portion separated from each other and the front portion of the printed area has notches at both side leading to a sample application port at one end and waste vent on other end.
