A METHOD OF PRODUCING A COPY OF A DOCUMENT BASED ON SCANNER STATUS INFORMATION IN A MULTIFUNCTION PERIPHERAL (MFP)

The present invention describes a method of producing a copy of a document based on scanner status information in an MFP. This speeds up the scan jobs and increases the life span of the scanner. This method allows the users to reprint the latest copy job again without actually scanning the documents again. The user will be provided an option to enable or disable the option. The idea is to reduce scanning of documents in situations when it is not necessary to scan.
