A pharmaceutical composition for non-ocular infective conditions with drug resistant bacterium for parenteral administration is provided . The pharmaceutical composition includes a first antibacterial agent. The first anti bacterial agent is Vancomycin or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, preferably Vancomycin hydrochloride and a second antibacterial agent. The second antibacterial agent is Ceftriaxone or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, preferably Ceftriaxone Sodium along with a chemical vector . The chemical vector is L-arginine, EDTA or its salts thereof, sodium bicarbonate or combination thereof which are present in specific weight ratio. The first antibacterial agent and said second antibacterial agent are present in sterile dry powder form. The pharmaceutical composition is reconstituted with a compatible pharmaceutically acceptable solvent prior to parenteral administration.
