The invention refers to a device and method for precipitating solids suspended in a volume of fresh and/or residual water. The device and method cause a circular and centrifuge movement in the liquid. This circular movement of the liquid originates a centripetal movement in the particles suspended within the liquid, thus creating deposits which are precipitated upon reducing the speed inside the liquid volume. The device and method originate dissolution of the carbonates present in the liquid volume and transform the calcium and magnesium carbonates found in a crystalline manner known as calcite, into the crystalline form known as aragonite.
