Device and method for unpacking cartons for the tobacco industry

The mechanism (1) comprises a feed conveyer device (15) for cartons (4,5,6,7) filled with tobacco material (35), where an unpacking device (20) is equipped. The unpacking device is a linear axis system (21), by which a gripping device (25) is moved in vertical axis (23) and horizontal axis (22) along a conveying direction (19) in the carton. A folding device (40) is arranged on the feed conveyer device or receiving device (30). An independent claim is also included for a method for unpacking a carton in tobacco processing industry.
