The invention relates to a process for thermo-mechanically processing TiAlNb alloy used in medicine for making spinal implants. According to the invention, the process comprises more stages, namely: an initial thermal treatment in a lab thermal treatment furnace with electric heating, the alloy being heated for 2 hours at a temperature of 780°C and cooled in the air, followed by a heating for deformation at a temperature of 930°C, followed by a plastic deformation performed in only one stage, by means of a lab pile driver, with a deformation level of E=35%, and for improving the mechanical properties and the resistance to corrosion, in the last stage, the alloy is subjected to a final thermal treatment, by heating the alloy in the furnace, for two hours, at a temperature of 930°C, cooling the same in the furnace up to a temperature of 760°C with a cooling rate of 1°C/min, followed by another stage of cooling the alloy, also in the furnace, from 760°C to 480°C with a cooling rate of 6°C/min and the last cooling stage, in the air, from 480°C to 26°C.
