The invention relates to a process for preparing agricultural fertilizers. According to the invention, the process consists in mixing the starting material comprising 50% resinous tree and deciduous tree bark, 35% wood dust, 5% malt marc, 10% barley hull and wastes, to which marc is admixed up to a mixture moisture of 40%, after which the mixture is subjected to a biodegrading process at a temperature of 60°C, for 30 days, to result in a product having a total nitrogen content of 4.5%, a carbon content of 50%, at a C:N ratio in the range of 10...15, which is meant to be used for soil fertilization.
