The invention relates to a device for lifting fodder from furrows, meant for the machines gathering and loading fodder or for the gathering and bundling machines, which perform the operations of gathering the fodder from furrow and loading it into the trailer and pressing the same into bundles, respectively, in order to store the material or reduce the volume thereof for easily handling purposes. According to the invention, the device is fixed, with screws, on the machines (M) for gathering and loading fodders and it consists of a hollow axle (1) provided, at the ends, with two shafts (2 and 3) whereon there are mounted, symmetrically with the axle (1), two supports (4) consisting of four arms placed radially equidistant between which there are articulatedly mounted, in correspondence, by means of some anti-friction bushings (5), four finger-holder bars (6) whereon there are rigidly mounted, at one of the ends, four arms (7), on each arm (7) there being articulatedly fixed, by means of some non-represented nuts, a metal roller (8) which moves on a metal cam (9) with U-shaped cross-section elliptic profile, consisting of two concentric cam elements (a and b), welded on an elliptic plate (c).
