The invention relates to a process and an equipment for manufacturing metallically reinforced soil or ore tablets which are used in the qualitative and quantitative analysis of metals by means of energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry, scanning electronic microscopy, as well as the electronic microscopy combined with energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry. The claimed equipment comprises a manually actuated hydraulic press of 200 kN on which there is mounted a vibration device consisting in its turn of a steel body (), cut on a side on its whole length in order to prevent the short-circuit closure of magnetic field lines, a mobile core () of ferrite steel, an electric coil (), an electric connector (), a non-metal protection housing (), a compression spring (), a stopper ring () and a hexagonal nut (), at the upper side of the vibration device there is placed a cylindrical metal housing () which contains the mould, consisting in its turn of two semi-bodies (). The claimed process consists in casting the weighed sample into a metal mould onto a cylindrical disc () made of metal wire mesh with an area of 2 cm, followed by a electromagnetic vibration of the mould for 5 seconds, with a frequency of 20 Hz and an amplitude of about 1 mm, after which the soil or ore sample is pressed by means of the hydraulic press of 200 kN with a specific pressure of about 100 kN/cm, for 5 min, against a male die (); after relieving the pressure and removing the male die () from the mould, a knurled-head screw () is screwed in the orifice in the bottom of the cylindrical housing () and the semi-bodies () of the mould are removed by pressing them and by manually spacing them apart from one another they release the soil or ore tablet () reinforced at the bottom part with the cylindrical disk () of fine metal wire mesh.
