The invention relates to a method and a device for determining the parameters of induction motors with short-circuited rotor by dynamic test. The claimed method consists in comparing the experimental starting duty with a simulated starting duty whose parameters are modified until the minimum of an objective function is obtained, said function depending on the differences between currents and speeds, respectively, which correspond to the two processes. The claimed device allows the monitoring of the starting by directly coupling an induction motor () to the network, under the circumstances in which, by means of a data acquisition plate (), the values of current phases R and S measured by Hall probe current transformers () are memorized, the values of the voltages of the same phases being measured by means of an adaptation block (), the values of the rotor speed being measured by a tachogenerator (), and the synchronization of the moment of starting the acquisition with the moment of starting the transitory process being carried out by means of a synchronization device ().
