The invention relates to means for contact-less measurement of roughness of asphalt-concrete road pavement at construction and operation of highways. A device for measurement of roughness of asphalt-concrete road pavement provides increase of accuracy and simplification of the procedure of measurement of roughness due to that it includes a source of coherent radiation and an objective for focusing incident light, objective for focusing reflected light, photo-receiver and registration block placed in sequence at the pass of reflected radiation. The optical-electronic scanning system is based on measurement of diffuse reflection at linear development of laser beam on the surface of pavement, as a photo-receiver it includes a two-dimensional matrix with rigid raster, and registration block includes a signal processor.
