The thermostream coagulator and the method for surgical treatment of tumors and metastases based on application of the thermostream coagulator have been proposed. The coagulator contains the manipulator and the handle. The flexible hose for supply of the operating fluid is connected to the service unit. The manipulator is connected with plastic tube passing through the tubular case and the handle. The tube is fastened rigidly by the limiter of its length. The case consists of at least two extensible element with external element rigidly connected in the handle. The manipulator represents the needle of the syringe put onto the conical union pipe and fastened with the conical spring. The opposite end of the hose for supplying the operational fluid is connected in leakproof mode with the union pipe passing inside the arresting device and the plastic tube. The service unit is equipped with aspirator and steam generator connected to the switch of the mode of steam supply/aspiration. The wire tie is attached to the internal segment of the extensible case with the least diameter. This wire tie is passed through the handle and exteriorized. The thermoablation of tumors and metastases is provided with the stream of the steam supplied under pressure from the needle of the coagulator. The thermoablation throughout the whole volume of tumor is provided by the multiple needle punctures with passages of the needle through the depth of the tumor. Then the substrate generated in the volume of tumor is aspirated. When the surgical resection of tumor or metastases is performed, the adjacent area of intact tissue is coagulated with resection provided along the edge of coagulation within the healthy tissue. The bleeding from the medium blood vessels may be arrested with high-temperature of gas stream of the thermostream coagulator.
