The invention relates to geodesy, in particular to devices for study of motion of focusing component of geodesic instrument telescope. A device for automated control of horizontal and vertical displacements of sight axis of geodesic instrument telescope at re-focusing includes a base and collimator installed on it. The collimator is equipped with a parallel-sided plate with semi-transparent mirror, photo-receiving matrix, triple prism with mechanism of its displacement by direction of the optical axis of collimator, mirror rigidly fixed on the base, turned with working plane to the triple prism and normal to the direction of the optical axis of collimator, electronic blocks: for processing and analysis of images, control of focusing, indication, writing and storage of information. The invention makes it possible to determine automatically horizontal and vertical displacements of sight axis of the telescope of geodesic instruments due to motion of focusing component at the whole range of its operation under laboratory conditions with increased accuracy.
