EVALUATION OF EFFECTIVENESS OF THERAPY WITH CARVEDILOL IN PATIENTS WITH CORONARY DISEASE WITH ANGINA AND DIASTOLIC DYSFUNCTION IN LEFT VENTRICULAR HYPERTROPHY

The invention relates to medicine, in particular to medicine, and concerns evaluation of effectiveness of therapy with carvedilol in patients with coronary disease with angina and diastolic dysfunction in left ventricular hypertrophy. The method provides for Doppler echocardiography of motionless patient prior to treatment with carvedilol and determination of transmitral blood flow by measurement of early diastolic filling rate. After carvedilol therapy similar examination is carried out, and if early left ventricular diastolic filling rate increases by 8.6% as compared with the rate before the treatment a hemodynamic result and antianginal effect are evaluated as positive.
