A crusher relates to mechanical engineering, to a class of vertical reversible screening grids of hammer type for crushing grain and other materials. The crusher comprises a vertical cylindrical chamber, inside which hammers are arranged, under the lower flat side of which two disk grids are located contacting by adjacent parallel planes with identically located separating holes and possibility of relative motion. Relative motion of the grids is carried out by a lever installed underneath, which is pivotally attached to the lower grid and has two shoulders, the larger of which is bent and directed toward the center of chamber, and at the peripheral edge of the smaller arm a stud is mounted, which through an additional oblong opening in the lower grid hingedly enters the opening of upper grid. Due to such implementation the adjustment of passage of twin grids and crushing module is facilitated by rotating the arm with a simple design of the mechanism.
