The invention relates to water treatment, particularly to the processing of concentrated residua of water treatment processes, and can be used for processing of retentate of reverse-osmosis denitrification of natural water. The task to the solving of which the invention is directed – complex processing of retentate of reverse-osmosis denitrification with the preparation of concentrates of separate salts, appropriate for further use, desalinated water at decreased energy demands and duration of process. The proposed process for processing of retentate consists in introduction of retentate to desalting cell (A) of electrodialysis apparatus, and to desalting cell (B) – solution of potassium chloride and realization of process with current density of 0.65-1.35 A/mfor 36-131 min. The realization of the process provides the preparation of separate concentrates of salts: KNOwith concentration of ions of NO103-167 g/dmand NaCl with concentration of Clions of 51.2-103.4 g/dm, which are efficiently used in industry; the preparation of rather desalinated water at decreasing of energy demands and simplification of processing process.
