The invention relates to enrichment of minerals and can be used in preparation of complex or polymetallic ores for flotation. A method for preparation of complex or polymetallic ores for flotation comprises treating pulp consisting of pieces of complex or polymetallic ores in liquid by high-voltage pulse discharges with given energy and pulse repetition rate. According to the invention, processing the pieces, whose size is 5 mm or less, is carried out with an energy in the range from 0.350 kJ to 1.00 kJ, processing the pieces, whose size is 6-20 mm, is carried out with an energy in the range from 1.0 to 1.8 kJ, processing the pieces, whose size is 21-40 mm is carried out with an energy in the range from 1.8 kJ to 2.25 kJ, processing the pieces, whose size is equal to 41-150 mm, is carried out with an energy in the range from 2 25 kJ to 5.00 kJ, and the pulse repetition rate is equal to 4-16 Hz. The technical result consists in increase of the selectivity of disclosure of ores with mineral particles interspersed therein, thereby achieving an increase in efficiency of flotation and degree of recovery of suitable material, while reducing energy expended.
