A channel for automated tracking of aircrafts by direction with use of frequencies of inter-mode beats and capability of search, formation and processing the aircraft image for a range test complex includes a control element, deflector control unit, pumped laser, longitudinal mode selector with frequency division multiplexing, modified block of deflectors, transmitting optics, receiving optics, photo-detector, broadband amplifier, modified information unit, resonance amplifiers adjusted to respective frequencies of inter-mode beats, detectors, filters, pulse formers, triggers "1"|"0", circuits AND, delay lines, counters, digital-to-analog converters, low frequency filters, error amplifiers (filters) (EA), executive mechanisms and a input of the reference signal with frequency vof the transmitting laser, b input of the signal from the channel of evaluation of tangent velocity (angular velocities) of the aircraft for adjustment of the error of coincidence by angles. After the EA instead of electronic-digital computing machine an electronic computer is introduced.
