The method for assessing the severity of liver cirrhosis comprises clinical laboratory examinations. In addition, the integrative parameter of the severity of cirrhosis and the parameters of syndrome, nosologic syntropies of the extrahepatic lesions, edematous ascetic syndrome, hepatopulmonary syndrome, portopulmonary hypertension, hepatorenal syndrome, the lesions of the vegetative nervous system, the hepatic encephalopathy, the state of bones and joints, the state of the skin are taken into account. Each parameter is scored in points.
