METHOD FOR INTERSTITIAL ELECTROPHORESIS IN PRE- AND POSTOPERATIVE TREATMENT OF COMPLICATED RECTAL FISSURES

A method for interstitial electrophoresis in the pre- and postoperative treatment of the complicated rectal fissures comprises electrophoresis of Dioxysol into rectal ampulla from active rectal drainage-electrode connected to plus terminal of Potok-1 apparatus. The passive electrode, 200 cm2, is placed onto coccygeal area and connected to minus terminal. The configuration provides for electric flux penetrating the mucous and muscular layers of rectum resulting in analgesic effect, decreased sphincter spasm, accumulation of drugs in inflammation area, alkalization of the peripheral tissues, destruction of the bacterial biofilm, alteration of the sensitivity of bacteria to the drugs, and postoperative acceleration of regeneration. The treatment sessions are provided for 60 minutes at 0.01-0.05 mA/cm2.
