METHOD FOR PREVENTING MOTOR DISORDERS FOLLOWING STEREOTAXIC BIOPSY OF BRAIN TUMORS

A method for preventing the motor disorders following stereotaxic biopsy of brain tumors comprises the diagnostics of the tumors. Prior to the surgery, and MP-tractography is performed for determining the topography of the pyramidal tract relative to the tumor. The findings of visualization are combined in the single tomographic image at the last stage of the examination.
