An apparatus for producing ingots in molds with warming of head portion thereof by a plasma flow on pallets of rail bogies comprises a drive carriage, which is a frame with three-cantilevered driving beams for two lodgements of a ladle and for a plate fixed on central and other end beams, a platform with plasmatrons, which is installed under the plate and driven in the vertical plane through a power cylinder with a center on pallets on the rail bogies. The power cylinder of platform with plasmatrons is located on the frame of the driving bogie mounted movably in guides of the plate in the direction of movement of the carriage.
