A method for increase of sensitivity and selectivity of determination of picrate-ions by potentiometric method involves use of the potentiometric electrode (sensor) based on polyvinylchloride, and the electrode comprises electrode-active substance and plasticizer. Ion associate is used as an electrode-active substance, to the base of the electrode (sensor) IA butylrhodamine C of picrate is introduced, and tricresyl phosphate is used as plasticizer.
