METHOD FOR DETECTING PERSONS WITH REDUCED IMMUNOLOGIC REACTIVITY AMONG PEDIATRIC PATIENTS WITH DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE I

The method for detecting the persons with the reduced immunologic reactivity among the pediatric patients with diabetes mellitus type I provides for cytogenetic examination. The rate of the association of acrocentric chromosomes is measured in the cultures of the lymphocytes of the peripheral blood. When the average number of associations per cell is less than normal, the patients with the reduced immunologic reactivity are detected.
