The technique for applying the inverted periosteal-aponeurotic suture in brain surgery comprises the juxtaposition of the periosteal and aponeurotic layers with the corresponding layers of the opposite edge of the wound with the knot of the suture deepening between the periosteal and aponeurotic layers.
