A method for the determination of dendrite liquation of elements in melts based on iron or nickel includes the values of coefficients of total (quasi-equilibrium) liquation (K) and one-side liquation (K), according to formulae:,,where C– content of the elements in inter-axial spaces of dendrite that cure as last ones;C– content of the elements in the axes of dendrite that cure first;C– medium content of the element in metal in meC- content of the elements in the sample of metal after etching material of inter-axial spaces from it with acids, i.e. C= C. The values of C, Cor Care determined empirically at the rate of curing of technically pure melted metals within 0.1-0.7 deg./s, and corrected value of the coefficient of total or quasi-equilibrioum liquation is calculated on the basis of the dependences found:K= 2.33 • K, % at K0, i.e. at C C;K= 2.51 • K+ 2.16, % at K0, i.e. at C C.
