METHOD FOR PREVENTING MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION IN EXPERIMENTAL ISCHEMIA-REPERFUSION OF MYOCARDIUM

A method for preventing the myocardial infarction in the experimental ischemia-reperfusion of myocardium comprises the use of Flocalin, the domestic fluoride-containing activator of ATP-sensitive potassium canals of the membranes of sarcolemma and mitochondria. The substance is given per os at a dose of 1.8 mg/kg in the experiments in anesthetized dogs in 60 minutes preceding ischemia. The use of the substance results in cardioprotection decreasing the size of the myocardial infarction by 40 %.
