POLARIZATION-OPTICAL DEVICE FOR DETERMINATION OF ROTARY PIEZOOPTIC COEFFICIENTS OF OPTICALLY UNIAXIAL MATERIALS

The polarization-optical device for determination of rotary piezooptical coefficients of optically uniaxial materials includes a wide-angle source of monochromatic linearly polarized radiation, on its optical axis analyzer installed to crossed position with respect to the plane of polarization of linearly polarized radiation is placed. Between the wide-angle source of monochromatic linearly polarized radiation and the analyzer a condenser is additionally installed, and after the analyzer objective, photo-camera and registration device are placed.
