A method for producing nanosized, micron and submicron metal powders and metal carbides from the products and waste of solid alloys includes treatment of the raw material from the hard-metal products VK (WC, Co), VNM (W, Ni, Mo), VNZ (W, Ni, Fe), TK (WC, TiC, Co), TTK (WC, TiC, TaC, Co), etc. in a disintegrator with the dispersing liquid. The raw materials are charged into a disintegrator at a weight ratio of the liquid phase and a solid phase - 0.1: 1.5 ... 1.0: 10.0, with continuous stirring. An aqueous solution of ferric sulfate is used as the dispersing liquid (C 4 g/l, pH 4) and it is the medium of existance of the bunch of thiobacteria (Thiobacillus ferroxidans, Thiobacillus thiooxidans).
