METHOD FOR PRODUCING EXTRACT FROM LEAVES OF GARDEN SAGE POSSESSING ANTIBACTERIAL AND ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITIES

A method for producing the extract from the leaves of the garden sage possessing antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activities comprises the extraction of the raw material with the hot water, the filtration, the evaporation, the purification, and the drying. The leaves of the garden sage are used for extraction after the separation of the essential oil. The extraction with diluted ethanol follows. The extract is purified by settlement. Supernatant is collected and sterilized.
