METHOD TO FORM CORE COLLECTIONS OF WATER MELON AND MELON

摘要

A method to form core collections of water melon and melon includes selecting from the basic collection of a gene pool of the crops. Taking the samples, which passed an assessment according to a complex of characters of the basic collection, classifying thereof by affinity and remoteness of these characters, determining standard varieties for each cluster, in which a hierarchy coefficient is 1, which are a constituent of the core collection.
