Device for the control of the tear and wear of the brake blocks of the electric locomotive consists of four strain sensors, data output module. There are four electronic sensors in the device, signaling module to launch braking system, module to define the maximum value of action time, brake block tear and wear level calculation module. Outputs of the first, second, third and fourth strain sensors are connected to other outputs of the first, second, third and fourth electronic timers correspondingly, their first inputs are connected to signaling module to launch braking system. Outputs of the first, second, third and fourth electronic timers are connected to the first, second, third and fourth inputs of the module to define the maximum value of action time correspondingly, its output is connected to the input of brake block tear and wear level calculation module, and its output is connected to the input of data output module.
