VERTICAL BLIND, HANGER RAIL, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING 5A vertical blind is provided with: a shaft (4) having opposite ends rotatably supported by the opposite ends of a hanger rail (1); a retainer (8) which is movably supported by the hanger rail (1), has the shaft (4) inserted therein, and, in the operation of folding slats (3), is transferred together with a head runner10 (2a) in the direction of folding of the slats; and stoppers (10, 1 1) for holding the retainer (8) at a support position at which the retainer (8) prevents the shaft (4) from deflecting.
