Subsea cable tensioner structure and a tensioner assembly comprising the same

The present disclosure relates to a tensioner structure () for a subsea cable laying procedure. The tensioner structure () comprises a body () which has a cable receiving surface () arranged to receive a subsea cable () for applying radial pressure onto the subsea cable (), wherein the cable receiving surface () has a cross section that has N flat sides (), where N is an integer, and N-i curved portions (), wherein each adjacent pair of flat sides () is connected by a curved portion (). A tensioner assembly comprising a plurality of tensioner structures () is also disclosed.(Fig. 1)
