The invention consists of a plant designed to carry out treatment of thermophilic anaerobic digestion (55 ° C) -mesofílica (35) sequentially mixed sludge (primary sludge more side) generated during the purification of urban waste water for sludge stabilization and the corresponding method of operation. # the plant consists of two reactors operating in thermophilic and mesophilic respectively regime. Thermophilic reactor is fed with a mixture of primary and secondary WWTP sludge (sewage treatment plant) in a 1: 1. The effluent obtained after thermophilic digestion is used as the mesophilic reactor substrate. The final process effluent is extracted from the mesophilic reactor.
