Access control system for garages; comprising means of controlling access to every garage, with means for opening and closing have at least one signal receiver and a microprocessor which manages the information received from a number of remote controls and actuating the opening means and closing the corresponding access. The system comprises: in each remote identification tag and a programmable memory; in each of the garages: a remote installation, a database and a means for communication via GPRS mobile phone with a Web server; and a Web server, including management software, a database and a means for communication via GPRS mobile phone with remote installations and updating of the list of active remote controls included in its database.
