PROCESS FOR SUPPLYING POWER TO ACTUATORS ASSOCIATED WITH AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR

In the field, it is known that an aircraft is provided with actuators associated with the landing gear, the aircraft comprising: a main energy generation which operates independently of a rotation of the wheels; and a local energy generation comprising at least one local generator driven by the rotation of a wheel. The generation of local energy is used in case of emergency, when the main energy generation has failed. This configuration has the disadvantage of using high voltage cables to route the main energy to the undercarriages. The method according to the invention reverses the order of energy supply so that: the actuators are powered by the generation of local energy; and when the supply of energy by the generation of local energy is insufficient, the supply of energy to the actuators is supplemented or totally provided by means of the main energy generation. It is thus possible to use low voltage cables to the undercarriages.
