A computer implementedsystem and method for parallel adaptivedata partitioning on a reservoir simulationusing an unstructured grid includes a methodof simulating a reservoir model whichincludes generating the reservoir model. Thegenerated reservoir model is partitioned intomultiple sets of different domains, each onecorresponding to an efficient partition for aspecific portion of the model.
