Compact and transportable preparation centre which canbe used for fracturing operations on gas or oil fields,capable of metering out and dissolving two differentpolymers in the powder form, and comprising:- two pneumatic means respectively supplying twostorage hoppers (1, 2) for two separate polymers;- two means for supplying and metering the polymeroriginating respectively from the two storagehoppers to a device for dispersing by grinding(11), also denoted PSU;- two series of tanks (12, 13) for hydration anddissolution of the polymers connected to thedispersing and grinding device (11);- two positive displacement vacuum pumps (14, 15)for metering the two solutions each originating fromthe two series of hydration and dissolution tanks (12,13) and intended to supply a mixer (26) itselfconnected to a high-pressure injection pump (20).Fracturing process employing the preparation centre.
