SOLVENT RECOVERY SYSTEM BELOW SUPERCRITICAL CONDITIONS

A system and process for solvent recovery after sonic treatment of heavy oilfeedstocks is disclosed. Thesystem avoids supercritical variations. The separation process involvessolvent selection and use of aproprietary sonic reactor. The solvent recovery process may include pressurevariations to solvent materialsin order to obtain separation from of solvents from separated asphaltenes ordeasphalted oil at hightemperatures. The applied pressure variations allow the separation to occuravoiding supecritical states inthe solvent materials.
