The invention "Nano-antibody, specifically binding MUC1 protein, and method for detecting MUC1 protein with the aid of the nano-antibodies" relates to the field of molecular immunology, biotechnology and medicine, in particular to the production and use of specific single-domain antibodies - nano-antibodies for identifying (detecting) and binding human MUC1 protein. A nano-antibody which specifically binds human mucin 1 protein (MUC1) and has an amino-acid sequence SEQ ID: 2 is produced. Furthermore, a method for detecting MUC1 protein in human biological fluids is defined, the method comprising bringing the above-mentioned biological fluid into contact with the nano-antibody produced and detecting the binding of the nano-antibody with the MUC1 protein. Furthermore, detection of the MUC1 protein with the aid of the nano-antibody is carried out both in free form in biological fluids and on the surface of cells, for example, tumour cells, where said protein is overexpressed.
