A MANAGEMENT METHOD FOR FORWARDING PLANE TUNNEL RESOURCES UNDER THE CONTROL AND FORWARDING DECOUPLING ARCHITECTURE

Disclosed are a management method and apparatus for forwarding plane tunnel resources under the control and forwarding decoupling architecture. The method comprises: sending forwarding plane tunnel resources request message to the forwarding plane apparatus in order to make the forwarding plane apparatus allocate the forwarding plane tunnel resources based on the forwarding plane tunnel resources request message, obtaining the allocated forwarding plane tunnel resources from the forwarding plane apparatus, sending the obtained forwarding plane tunnel resources to target network element to establish packet data network connection between the forwarding plane apparatus and the target network element. According to the invention, load balancing of the forwarding plane apparatus can be implemented, signaling interaction between the control plane apparatus and the forwarding plane apparatus can be possibly reduced, and efficient fault processing can be implemented when the apparatus breaks down.
