An information processing apparatus (10) stores therein spans between each of power-transmission steel towers that constitute a power transmission facility, a wire size that is the diameter of each of the wires spanning across each of the power-transmission steel towers, and the spans between power-transmission steel towers that had accidents, which are the spans between power-transmission steel towers on which snow damage accidents have occurred in the past. The information processing apparatus (10) also acquires a correlation formula between a fist variable and a second variable, using the spans between power-transmission steel towers that had accidents as the first variable, and using, as the second variable, relative torsional rigidity that is a value obtained by multiplying the ratio between the span between the applicable power-transmission steel towers that had an accident and adjacent inter power-transmission steel tower spans that are the spans between power-transmission steel towers adjacent to the power-transmission steel towers that had an accident, by a wire-size correction value that is a value determined according to the wire size. The information processing apparatus (10) then outputs, on the basis of the correlation formula, an indicator for evaluating the risk of a snow damage accident happening between power-transmission steel towers constituting a power transmission facility.
