Various embodiments of a self-adapted multi-antenna selection technique based on broadband wireless access network for high-speed railway are provided. Compared with conventional techniques, the proposed strategy adaptively pairs antennas of an antenna array associated with a base station in response to the fast-changing distance between the base station and the antenna array on a high-speed train. The proposed technique achieves a channel matrix with full rank and thereby improves the channel capacity.
